SuperCharged Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
While I firmly believe that the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited may be the perfect platform on which to build a capable trail vehicle, Its no secret that the new motor that Jeep put in them is fairly gutless. While technically offering more horsepower than the inline six it replaced, the torque output leaves something to be desired. The owner of this 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X apparently agrees with me on this point and decided the answer was to cram a RIPP SuperCharger under the hood. This is a very clean install and sounds great. The RIPP website claims that this kit will double your horsepower! Hopefully Ill get some time behind the wheel of this thing to see what it can do!
